The Sustainable Living Roadshow (SLR) is a caravan of educators, entertainers, and activists who tour the country in a fleet of renewable fueled vehicles, setting up off-the-grid festivals empowering communities and individuals to utilize sustainable living strategies for a healthier planet. Visiting university campuses and community events across the United States, the caravan sets up experiential learning villages, featuring workshops, speakers, entertainment and an eco-carnival.  The Sustainable Living Roadshow is designed to celebrate practical solutions to global and environmental issues created by our modern energy and food systems. The intention of the tour is to introduce communities to sustainable living strategies such as bio-regionalism, renewable energy, sustainable food systems, natural building practices, conscious consumerism and sustainable community development. www.sustainablelivingroadshow.org

The Green City Gallery is a venue celebrating the emerging field of ecologically responsible designs. Bay Localize and DIG Coop are collaborating to open this space, located in downtown Berkeley. The Gallery hosts workshops, and other social and educational events, as well as exhibits from organizations, businesses and artists who are all engaged in the development of a vibrant, urban ecology and local “green” economy.
